We are BACK!!!

Those who are friends with me on social media know that I love to share our family with everyone. In our busy lives, it became a way to share funny stories and pictures with friends and family near and far. Give people a laugh, or a smile. I write like I speak. Grammatically, I probably make readers cringe! ๐Ÿ˜‚However, I write as if I were saying it out loud, so that's just how its going to be! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I've been absent on social media lately and it has been a good and bad thing. I miss sharing funny stories to brighten my friends' days. I chose to print years worth of posts and had them made into a book. The kids LOVE the books and are always asking to look at them. This is where the bad came in, because I did that, I was no longer documenting our lives for my kids.

I was torn. I didn't like or agree with the censorship occurring over all the platforms and would not continue to use those platforms in the manner I had in the past. But how was I to continue to share laughter and journal our stories with our people?

That's when I decided to go back to the ANCIENT world of blogging. I set up this blog many moons ago for our people to follow the kids medical diagnoses, good ol' craniosynostis. It allowed me to put my attention on my kids, rather than spending all my days updating family and close friends.

So here we are attempting this again. I will post the link on my social media but feel more comfortable with our story here.

SO a quick update over the last two months.....

Blakely turned 3 and still thinks she is in charge of all of us!๐Ÿ™„

House construction is nearly complete and our kitchen, mudroom and laundry room renovations are 99% complete!!! I will share pictures some time later this week. It's a mess right now and I just realized I have no pictures of it all completed. Yep! Not even one!

Brooklyn started back to competing dance competitions since stupid COVID
shut it all down. She was honored with a "Honored Dancer Nominee Scholarship" from convention classes last month.

Blakely experienced girl scout cookies for the first time in her life and this was her reaction of getting caught shoving 2 or 3 in her mouth at one time.

My boys discovered their love for playing in the pluff mud, so that's their new thing.

I had eyelid surgery to fix the damage done from Bell's palsy and had my post op check up today! Its all good and we are all happy with the results! This was taken just minutes after surgery last week.Hence the big purple arrow!

And homeschool finally feels like it fits in our lives, Thank God for Abeka Academy during such a year of uncertainty. Many have asked if we will be returning to our old school next year, and the answer is YES! My kiddos will be back next year with all their friends, however, I can't praise Abeka Academy enough and may do a couple of homeschool posts here in the future.

Thats just a quick brief update. All is well and like always, there is so much going on!
For the time being this is where you will find us!
